The Purple Foxes
Jim Smith of the HMM-364 pilots a CH-46 Sea Knight on a medivac mission
during the Vietnam War. During its three tours in Vietnam the squadron flew
almost 70,000 hours in combat missions, and was awarded the Presidential
Unit Citation for meritorious conduct in the performance of duty.
